D'Iberville, Miss. (WALA) - Officials said on Friday, D’Iberville police arrested 36-year-old Teresa Holland Stanley for embezzlement.  Chief Wayne Payne said the arrest resulted from the culmination of an investigation into an embezzlement report from Bayside Chrysler Dodge in D’Iberville.

On August 15, 2012, the owner of Bayside Chrysler Dodge filed a report with the D’Iberville Police Department in reference to a former employee embezzling a large sum of money over the past year.

Lt. Terry Hines stated Stanley was the office manager from 2006 thru August 2012 and had access to all of the business accounts.  Hines said during the month long investigation it was discovered Stanley had embezzled over $200,000.00 in the past year.

Hines said Stanley is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $100,000.00 bond set by Judge Bruce Strong for Embezzlement.

If you have any information regarding this incident or any other crime, please contact the D’Iberville Police Department at 228-396-4252 or Crime Stoppers at 877-787-5898.
