MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Westbound traffic going into the Bankhead Tunnel was delayed for a short time Thursday morning.

Witnesses say an 18-wheeler tried to go into the tunnel. When the driver realized the rig wouldn't fit, they tried to back up but hit a car that was behind the truck.

It appears no one was injured.

Traffic is still moving a little slow in the area, so expect delays.
