4 Mobile schools to give H1N1 vaccine

MOBILE, Ala. - Mobile Public Schools will begin administering the H1N1 flu vaccination to four schools tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

Those schools will be; Regional School for the Deaf and Blind, Augusta Evans, Just 4, and Dauphin Island Elementary.

The vaccinations will be available starting at 8:30 a.m. except for Just 4, which will begin at noon. The vaccination will be administered in the school's health clinic, by the school nurse to students pre-K through nine years of age, with a signed permission slip from the child's parents or guardian.

The clinics will start again on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. and will continue everyday at elementary schools until the start of the public school system's winter break on Monday, December 21, 2009.
