Investigators find Nall Street fire was intentionally set

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Heavy smoke and flames poured through the collapsed roof and from all sides of a home on Nall Street in Mobile early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the fire at around 3 a.m. June 6. Following their investigation, fire investigators found that the fire was intentionally set.

The fire appears to have started in the dining room and spread throughout the home before firefighters arrived. No one was home during the fire.

Damage to the home is estimated at approximately $30,000.

The house next door suffered miner external damage from the heat of the fire but no injuries were reported.
