MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A group of French students will arrive in Mobile this week, but the organization sponsoring them is a little short on host families as of Sunday.
The ORCA French Exchange Program allows students from France to visit Mobile each year for three weeks. The students learn about our culture and lifestyle by living in the homes of families with teenagers.
Cheryl Hall, who is charge of the program, was still trying to locate three host families Sunday. The students arrive on Friday, July 6.
Hall said she has a 16-year-old girl, and two boys who are 16 and 17 who need host families.
If you have a little extra room in your heart and home for one of these students, Hall would love to hear from you.
She said all of the students like sports and music. The 17-year-old boy is allergic to cats.
You'll find more information about the program at the ORCA Mobile French Exchange Program's Facebook page , and you can email Hall at madamecherylhall@gmail.com.
