Mobile safety checkpoints results

MOBILE, Ala. - The Mobile Police Department conducted safety checkpoints last night, issuing 58 citations.

Approximately 1,200 vehicles passed through the checkpoints from 7pm - 10:15pm. The citation breakdown is as followed:

• Insurance: 38
• Window Tint: 2
• Seatbelt: 1
• Registration: 5
• Miscellaneous Moving Violation: 2
• Equipment Violation: 2
• No Drivers license: 5
• Improper Tags: 2
• Speeding: 1
