MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Volunteers with Ransom Café are preparing a Thanksgiving Dinner for hundreds of people.

Ransom Café, a ministry that operates like a restaurant, is inviting folks who may not have a place to go on Thanksgiving Day.

More than 50 volunteers are preparing to serve more than 600 people. They are preparing turkey, ham and a number of sides.

“Sweet potatoes brown sugar, butter, flour and pecans and lots of love,” said volunteer Linda Barnes.

This is Ransom Café third annual Thanksgiving Dinner

The meal begins at 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, November 22 Christ United Methodist Church.
