Baker sets new HiQ record

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The team of scholars from Baker HiQ school set a new record for points scored during the 2012 HiQ season during a match Wednesday at B.C. Rain High School.

Baker scored 55 points in its match against Leflore and Rain.

The Hornets took an early lead, scoring 31 points by halftime and built on its lead in the second half.

The final score was Baker 55, B.C. Rain 20 and Leflore 18.
