Bayou man injured, flown to hospital

BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WALA) - A man in his 80s was life flighted to the hospital Friday.

Joseph Dorrough's granddaughter told FOX10 News he was burning leaves ready when the wind blew the fire in his face. The man was flown to USA Hospital.

The helicopter landed at the intersection of Four Mile Road and Bayou Irvington Blvd. The incident happened off Debra Lane.

We do not know the man's condition at this time.
