MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Baker High School HiQ academic team made the most of "home court advantage" Thursday morning as it competed against teams of scholars from Citronelle and Satsuma.

In front of more than a dozen classes in the Baker auditorium, the Hornets jumped to an early lead and held onto it as the match progressed.

At halftime, Baker had a 19 point lead over its nearest competitor.

The final score was Baker 53, Satsuma 21 and Citronelle 10.
