Blount wins close HiQ match

CITRONELLE, Ala. (WALA) - A successful challenge gave Blount High School a victory during the HiQ academic contest at Citronelle High School Thursday morning.
The home team had an 11 point lead over Blount and Satsuma at halftime, and despite a comeback by Blount, at the end of the competition it appeared Citronelle had won. However, Blount issued an appeal at the end of the match and it was accepted, giving Blount a one point victory.
The final score was Blount 26, Citronelle 25 and Satsuma 9.
