MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - People turned out for a special boot camp Saturday morning to shed some pounds for arthritis.
Campers paid $10 for an expert mix of pilates, yoga and running that had them sweating. All proceeds went to the Arthritis Foundation which is close to the heart of the boot camp’s drill sergeant, Cindy Ross.
"I have battled it for the past ten years. It effects one out of every 3rd American and its just a debilitating disease and people don't realize how bad it can be and how it hurts everyday," Ross explained.
Ross said 34 people participated in the special boot camp and $473 was raised.
