MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Safe Haven Animal Care Kennel is raising money for the care of an injured boxer. The Mobile County Animal Shelter informed the SHACK when the dog was brought in with a serious head injury.

Nancy Johnson with Mobile County says a property owner called and reported that the dog had been tied up in its yard and left. Investigators found the dog suffering trauma to the head. Right now, the investigation is at a dead end unless someone comes forward with information.

The SHACK has named his Josiah. He is currently at the Irby Overton Veterinary Clinic.

If you would like to donate, you can do so online or contact the SHACK .
