MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - FOX10 News is learning more about the investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct involving teacher and a 14-year-old student at Mary G. Montgomery High School.

Lt. Paul Burch with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office said two of the case's investigators work with the Child Advocacy Center.

Burch also said authorities are still investigating the case and have not presented any evidence to Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich. Rich will determine if there is enough evidence to file charges against the teacher.

Officials searched the home of the teacher Wednesday.

Burch told FOX10 News on Wednesday, February 20 he expects the sheriff's office to have most or even all of its investigation completed by Thursday.
