MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The sequester is starting to have its impact on the Gulf Coast.
The U.S. Coast Guard Band concert in Mobile, scheduled for the evening of March 11, has been canceled. Organizers say the popular event is a victim of sequestration, the across-the-board spending cuts which started to take effect March 1.
The entire Southeast tour of the Band has been canceled.
