Cooling assistance program announced

MOBILE COUNTY (WALA) - Mobile Community Action Inc. will begin taking applications for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) on June 21, 2010.

This is a federally funded program designed to assist low income families in Mobile and Washington Counties with their energy bills.

To apply for assistance, individuals should call the Mobile Community Action Inc. agency in their respective area. For more information call (251) 457-5700.
