Rape, incest suspect's bond under review at hearing

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County District Attorney's Office wants the bond revoked for James Walls.

"The district attorney’s office filed a motion to revoke his bond based on some allegations of some conduct related to the case," said defense attorney Jason Darley.

Walls' attorney Jason Darley wouldn't go into detail but FOX10 News has learned it's because Walls allegedly made contact with one of his victims since he's been out of jail on bond.

Walls was arrested in October, accused of two counts of rape, sodomy, and incest involving two underage girls. At the time of his arrest, he had plenty to say to our cameras. Walls said he was, "sorry", and that he "had to do what he had to do" in reference to going to jail.

Those with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said one of the victims told an adult what was going on and that adult did nothing.

Assistant District Attorney Nicki Patterson was involved in another trial Monday morning. Judge Jay York set the bond hearing over to Wednesday, the same day of Walls' preliminary hearing.
