MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich said she's pleased with the hard work of police investigators who arrested the suspected shooter in connection with the murder of Wendy Fisher Saturday.
Fisher was shot and killed after she yelled at a speeding driver on her street.
Travon Washington, 17, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder. Rich said Washington was one of four people in the car.
According to the Rich, Washington was in the front passenger seat when he jumped out of the car and fired at Fisher.
FOX10 News asked Rich if charges would be brought against the other three people in the car.
"We have to evaluate whether they knew this shooting was going to happen, whether they had a part in it, and if we can to prove that they had a part, or knew that the shooting was going to take place then there may not be criminal charges filed. It just depends on how the investigation unfolds as to what they knew, whether they planned it, whether it was something that they could have done to avoid it. So we have to look at all those circumstances before we decide whether they will be charged," Rich said.
Rich said the investigation into the shooting is still underway.
