PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - Davidson High School earned 52 points during Tuesday's HiQ match at the Blount High School auditorium.
Davidson scored 24 points in the first half of the competition to Blount's 10 and Williamson's 6.
The second half saw Davidson more than double its halftime score, thanks in part to one team member who solved a complicated trigonometry problem in 6 seconds.
The final score was Davidson 52, Blount 15 and Williamson 6.
