MCSO investigates decomposed body found in Irvington

IRVINGTON, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a decomposed body found in Irvington on Tuesday was that of a homeless man.

Lori Myles with the MCSO said investigators found bones on the scene on Jan. 8. She said the body was found near Palmer's Quickstop on Highway 90 by a motorist.

Authorities said they found identification with the body and no foul play is suspected
