MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff's Office said the vandals responsible for about $100,000 worth of equipment damage have been caught.

Authorities said the suspects are three juveniles, 16 years old and younger, and have been taken to Strickland Youth Center. They've been charged with criminal mischief first degree.

Farmer Jeremy Sessions offered a $7,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of a suspect.

The Mobile County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson, Lori Myles said the reward helped authorities.

"We canvassed door to door, and we received tips from that. And once we got all of that information, we put it back together," said Myles.

FOX10 News reported earlier this week in the last three months, vandals destroyed three tractors and acres of crops.

"You fix them and go on. Pick up the pieces an keep moving," said Sessions.

He said the losses totaled hundreds of thousands of dollars.

"I don't know why anybody would want to do it. I don't get the thrill behind it. It's just a mess," said Sessions.

Not only did the damage cost Sessions money, the damage also prevented money from coming in.

Authorities said one of the teens had an active warrant for third degree Burglary.
