MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Claude Moore Jeweler in Mobile is once again giving couples a chance to win a $13,000 engagement ring. The 2nd Annual Diamond Dash takes off Sunday downtown.

Couples will use SCVNGR on their mobile devices to complete challenges and earn points throughout the city of Mobile. SCVNGR is a Google-backed mobile gaming company.

“We were so pleased with the community response last year and could not wait to host our Diamond Dash again,” said Howard Moore of Claude Moore Jeweler. “By embracing this new technology, we’re able to give away a beautiful diamond ring in a way that’s fun for everyone.”

The diamond ring up for grabs is currently on display at Claude Moore Jeweler (3700 Dauphin Street, Mobile).

The couples competing were chosen from loves stories submitted to SCVNGR.

The Diamond Dash starts in Cathedral Square.
