Fashion bloggers with tips for moms

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -  Moms, here's a question for you: how hip are you?  Do you keep up with the latest fashion trends? If you don't, you're not alone.

Keeping up with a family is a lot of work, especially when we factor in all of our kids'  activities, all of the things that need to be done around the house and work responsibilities.  That really doesn't leave a whole lot of time for keeping up with other things -- especially the changing trends like fashion!

So, here's some good news: two Mom bloggers are doing all the work for us!

Vera Sweeney and Audrey McClelland are moms, and they're also eye-ball deep in fashion, make-up and all the trends out there.

These ladies tell us right now, bright colors and patterns are in.

Audrey explains, "Bright and bolds, yellows and pinks and red, these are in now.  And, what I really like to say is it doesn't matter what age you are, what shape or size -- by adding these colors into your wardrobe, it's a wonderful way to really utilize the hottest trends."

Audrey and Vera go on to say that just little touches here and there can really update your look.

For example, right now, you can add some bright color in the form of jewelry, shoes or a purse to an outfit you already have.  They also say polka dots are big right now.

The ladies want us to remember that even though we are busy with all of life's activities and challenges, we should make a little time for ourselves.  They say it's OK to take a few extra minutes in the morning to pull together an outfit or put on a little make-up because when we feel confident in the way we look, we feel better all the way around.
