MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A fire is under investigation at the Shady Acres RV Park in Mobile. Officials say an RV caught fire around midnight.
FOX10 News spoke with a resident at the park on Old Military Road. Bonnie Burl said she tried to fight the flames before firefighters arrived.
"With a trusty water hose, of course. They came in with the big guns and got it done, but I helped," Burl said.
Officials say the majority of the damage was to the rear of the RV, where an appliance was installed.
No word on what may have sparked the fire. No one was home.
