SEMMES, Ala. (WALA) - A house in Semmes was damaged after an early morning fire.
Firefighters were called out to the 9000 block of McNeil Road around 4:30 a.m. Thursday for reports of a house on fire.
When they arrived, firefighters reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. It took the crews nearly an hour to put out the blaze and check for hot spots.
The homeowner was on the scene and spoke to FOX10 News. She said no one was home at the time because the house was damaged on Sunday by another fire.
