MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Officials gathered at the grand opening of the new Chief Edward A. Berger Fire Station located in Theodore on Saturday.

The event began at 2 p.m. and included tours of the facility, family activities, free health screenings and more. City officials, including Mobile City Council Member Gina Gregory, Mayor Sam Jones and others, attended the event.

The station was promised to the Theodore during the annexation election.
