Firefighters: house fire began on stove

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Firefighters put out a minor fire at a home on Point Road in Mobile Saturday morning.

Officials said a neighbor reported the smoky fire around 9:30 in the morning. They said it started on a stove in the home.

Two fire engines responded, as well as the power company, to ensure no electrical problems were present.

Officials said they found nothing, and no one was hurt.
