PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) - FOX10 News visited six of the 79 polling locations in Escambia County.

Election officials say they expected a turnout of about 25 percent.

Rain hampered turnout at many locations in the morning. FOX10 saw at least one person drive up and wait in his car until the rain subsided.

In fact, in the morning, there were more candidate workers outside at one time then voters.

It seemed the most activity was at Vickery Community Center, one of six polling places that have two precincts each.

Every voter FOX10 talked to said it was worth coming out in the bad weather to vote.
