Funeral arrangements for Mobile Officer

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for a Mobile Police Officer who passed away at the beginning of the week.

Lt. Tommy Menton died Monday.

Menton's family released a statement to thank everyone for their kind words, love and affection. They say Tommy was extremely passionate about being a police officer and doing the finest job he could for the people he served.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m .at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile . The mass of the Christian burial will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
