MOBILE, Ala. - Planning takes a lot of time, but organizers of Greek Fest say the outcome is well worth the wait.

A lot of work goes into getting ready for Greek Fest. Just ask Nick Stratas. He injured his arm while setting up.

"I was talking and walking at the same time, and you are not supposed to do two things at one time. So I went down, hit the concrete and didn't bounce," said Stratas.

But Stratas says when he thinks about where the money raised goes to, he doesn't mind wearing a sling for a few days.

"From the profits, we give all the profits to charity and outreach ministries of the church," said Stratas.

Woody's Song is one of those charities. It just opened in August, and serves autistic children.

"It's an intensive therapy that they need, but it's just not... there are not a lot of places offering it," said parent Tia Karavokiros.

"Most of us know someone on the autistic spectrum. Autism is affecting a lot of families."

Stratas says a bad fall won't keep him away from giving to the community.

"All in the name of Greek Fest?"

"All in the name of Greek Fest, that's it, my boy. When you get hung with one of these things, that's the price you have to pay."

Greek Fest runs through Saturday. It's being held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Ann Street.
