Keep Mobile Beautiful to give away trees for day of service

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Keep Mobile Beautiful is celebrating the Dr. Martin Luther King day of service by offering free trees to those who stop by the recycling center downtown on Monday.

The group said they will give out trees to those who stop by the recycling center at 1451 Government St. in Mobile on January 21.

The trees will be given out between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. there are several species that will be distributed:

  • Cherrybark Oak
  • Sugarberry
  • Black Gum
  • Bald Cypress
