MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Area restaurants have their games faces on, They are getting ready for the big crowds, expected to turn out for the big game.
Come tonight, the parking lot of Heroes Sports Bar near the University of South Alabama will be packed with football fans ready to watch the big game, between Alabama and LSU. Inside, employees are busy getting everything ready for their arrival.
"I'm expecting a lot of tickets, and crowds," Gerald Taylor said. "I am just ready to get started."
Taylor was busy cleaning the grill.
Cooks are prepping food, making sure there is enough to go around and ordering more just in case, while bartenders stock up on adult beverages.
"Last night I made sure what beer I could fit in the fridge, I put it in the fridge," said one bartender.
Coming off a great weekend, with the GoDaddy.Com Bowl, Heroes management said it is only going to get better.
Managers also said several large watching parties have already reserved a table.
And if you have to work during what's being called the biggest game of the year, this isn't a bad place to be.
"We're able to watch game as it is going on. We've got LSU and Alabama fans, so we all get into it," Breanne Dutter said.
With bragging rights on the line, the staff at Heroes is a divided house when it comes to who they think will win.
"It is super exciting because we have two teams so close to home. See how we all feel about each other in the morning," Stormy Lord said.
"LSU going to win, Go Tigers," Joe Morris said. “My boss is a big Alabama fan, though."
