Houston Street closing for updates

MOBILE, Alabama (WALA) - Drivers in Mobile who use Houston Street will need to find a new route starting Thursday, September 9. Houston Street will be closed between Hunter Avenue and Dauphin Street for about two months.

During that time, MAWSS will work on a sewer and rehabilitation project. Drivers should expect delays, and be on the lookout for detours.
