PRICHARD, Ala. - A murder suspect is on the loose and Prichard Police need your help to find him. The deadly shooting happened on North Joseph Avenue.
The home was decorated for a celebration, but folks there are mourning their loved one. It was at that home that officials said a 20-year-old man was killed.
Latoya Veal, Spokesperson for the Prichard Police Department said, "It was determined that an argument in front of the residence between the two led to the shooting. The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the torso area and later died at the hospital from his injuries."
Investigators said the suspect is 24-year-old William Darnell Kidd, a.k.a "Red." Veal added, "Kidd is a resident of the Toulminville area of Mobile and he is considered armed and dangerous."
Kidd has a lengthy arrest history of violent crimes including charges of assault and robbery. Police want to get him off the streets. Veal said, "He was last seen driving a small vehicle burgundy in color."
If you know where Kidd is do not approach him, call Prichard Police.
