Kangaroo Express robbery suspect arrested

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - UPDATE: February 15, 2013 - Mobile police believe 16-year-old Austin Webster is responsible for the robbery. He was arrested Feb. 14 and charged with first degree robbery.

January 30, 2013 - Mobile police are investigating an early morning robbery. It happened Wednesday, January 30 at the Kangaroo Express on Three Notch Road.

Police say a man walked into the store around 2:09 a.m., armed with a gun, and demanded money.

The suspect took the money and was last seen running from the business.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'9", 150-155 pounds with a medium build and in his late teens. He is said to have brown eyes, medium length dark brown hair and was wearing a dark color skull cap, a long purple scarf around his face, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans and tennis shoes.
