MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Alabama fans were on their feet as the Crimson Tide moved on to a second-consecutive BCS National Championship appearance by defeating the Georgia Bulldogs, 32-28, on Saturday.

Fans at Buffalo Wild Wings in Mobile were on the edge of their seats watching the Tide play Georgia in a battle for the ages. The SEC Championship game proved a grueling match.

The manager at the restaurant, Jeff Hall, said the place was crazy.

"Pretty much, these people are die-hard Alabama fans," said Hall.

There were some Dawgs in the sea of Crimson who were holding out hope for a Georgia win and, for a moment, it looked like they might get one. The game swung Georgia’s way in the third quarter.

"We’re wining and were taking it now so we feel amazing," said one fan.

Another Alabama fan was not so sure, he said,"We’ve been down before and we can do it again."

He was right; the Tide turned.

"I’m still proud of Georgia, they had a great season this year and I'm still proud to wear this shirt,” said one Bulldog fan.

Alabama moves on to Miami and fans have a message for Notre Dame: “Get ready.”
