Man arrested for gas station robbery

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police arrested a suspect for robbing a man at a gas station. Officers booked Lamar Angelo James into the Mobile County Metro Jail Wednesday.
Investigators say James robbed a 62-year-old man outside a gas station on Dauphin Island Parkway.
The victim was pumping gas at a station around 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, August 15. The station is located in the 700 block of Dauphin Island Parkway.
The victim told police James pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet. James reportedly took the money out of the victim's wallet and gave his wallet back to him.
James is charged with Robbery First Degree.
