MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Mobile County rape, incest and sodomy suspect told FOX10 News, he's guilty as charged. James Walls made the admission, as he was on his way to metro jail.

When asked if he was guilty, 37-year-old James Walls simply said, "yes".

Walls is accused of two counts of rape, two counts of sodomy and two counts of incest.

"It's in the initial stages of the investigation. As we know right now, it's been going on a couple of years," said Lt. Paul Burch with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said one of the victims told an adult what was going on, and that adult did nothing.

"The case developed in the last week, week and a half. There was a disclosure made by one of the victims to an adult who chose not to do the right thing and notify law enforcement," Burch said.

Deputies said it wasn't until one of the victims told another adult, that law enforcement was called.

"It's very frustrating, and we will continue the investigation and hopefully seek charges against that person," Burch said.

Deputies said right now, there are no indications of other victims.

According to deputies, both victims were under the age of 18. A bond hearing for Walls will take place in the next couple of days.
