MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mayor Sam Jones is among the Alabama officials who will attend the Aviation Forum 2012 for a special panel presentation entitled, "AIRBUS in Mobile Alabama: Global, But Local," in Hamburg Germany from November 27 through 28.

The mayor will address the conference on Tuesday, November 27, Governor Robert Bentley will speak on Wednesday, November 28, and Mobile Airport Authority Executive Director Bill Sisson will be one of the eight panelists leading a presentation on AIRBUS in Mobile.

Also traveling from Alabama is the state's Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield, representatives from the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and various leaders from industry and development authorities.

"I am excited about this opportunity to put Mobile front and center before key AIRBUS suppliers at a forum specifically focusing on Brookley Aeroplex and Mobile," said Mayor Jones.
