MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Sheriff’s Department said on Tuesday, February 5, two men were arrested after one man was allegedly stabbed because of a dispute involving a dog.
Deputies said Mike Jarman and Corey Weaver are charged with first-degree assault after they reportedly stabbed John Bliss. Investigators said just hours before the stabbing, Jarman filed a complaint against Bliss stating Bliss had stolen his pit bull.
Deputies said Bliss was visiting his girlfiend and their children at Jarman’s house when the stabbing occurred. Bliss was stabbed several times in the back and on his arms.
He was taken to the hospital and released the following day.
