MFR: Late night fire damages 3 homes

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) -  

Mobile Fire-Rescue says a late night fire has damaged three homes.  The emergency call came in at 10:44 p.m.  Tuesday, March 12, 2013 reporting a home on the 200 block of Washington Avenue North was on fire. 

When firefighters arrived, the vacant two-story building was engulfed in flames.  The structure is reportedly a total loss.  Mobile Fire-Rescue spokesman Steve Huffman says, the fire did spread to the houses on either side.   There are no damage estimates at this time.

There were no reported injuries.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
