MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Brittany Robinson , 14, of Mobile has been missing for nearly three months.
Brittany's mother prays that her daughter will be found soon, now that her father is in custody.
When Tiana Hogue got the call that Demetric Hooper was in custody her emotions soared. Mobile Police issued a warrant for his arrest.
“Where's Brittany? What did he say about Brittany? And what's being done about what he said?” said Hogue.
What Demetric said, according to Tiana, brings some promise to a case that has lingered with few leads and little hope.
“He told them. I think she is 160 some odd miles away from her mother, and he didn't speak anymore on it without a lawyer,” said Hogue.
One possible witness still remains a mystery, the woman pictured at a Mobile, Alabama, retail store with Brittany and Demetric, on June 7, 2012
“It's still a question. No one knows who she is,” said Hogue.

U. S.Marshal's arrested Demetric Hooper in Springdale, Arkansas, six days after area TV stations ran a story about him and his daughter.
Hooper is in the Washington County, Arkansas, jail waiting to be extradited back to Mobile.
“We've been trying to keep it together being supportive of each other. My kids and other children, just trying to remain hopeful and encourage them that their sister will return home safely,” said Hogue.
Brittany Robinson was scheduled to begin her freshman year at Murphy High last month. Hogue said Brittany would've been taking advanced placement courses.
Brittany's mother was told that extradition could take about 90-days to complete.
