Mobile Fire-Rescue offers entrance exam

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department will be offering the Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) in early November.

The department will be conducting sign-ups for the test on August 23, 24, and 25, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Mobile Fire-Rescue Training Academy located at 860 Owens Street. They are located across from the Animal Shelter.

Candidates will need a valid driver’s license to sign-up.

The CPAT is a prerequisite for those interested in applying for the position of firefighter. This is not an offer of employment, only sign up for the test.
