MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The mother of a murder victim is pleading for help in finding her son's killer.
Jacques Files donated her son's organs after his murder and he has saved eight lives since his death.
That’s some consolation to her, but what she really wants is for her son's killer to be found.
It's been more than a month since 25-year-old Kendrick Files was shot outside the Time Saver convenience store on Navco Road on July 15.

Police said he was killed during a robbery. The gunman is still on the loose and Files is begging for anyone with information to come forward.
"It will make me feel, it won't get my baby back, but it will make me feel a tad bit better. And for those people, this guy is still on the street. It could be their child next, which I hope not. But, we need him off the street, because he's dangerous," the mother said.
Files plans to start putting up fliers around Mobile on Monday in hopes of reminding people about the crime — and the $1,000 reward.
"I'm sure it's somebody out there that knows something. I understand people might be scared. You can be anonymous, but I'm just begging for somebody, anybody, even the person himself, just come forward," she said.
Kendrick Files had gone to the store with a friend . Files said the friend was inside the store when he heard Kendrick yell outside.
"He got ready to step out, and there was a shooter at the door, and he pointed the gun on him and the owner and made them get back in. He said he seen my son running, and so he thought he had got away, and after the truck pulled off he wasn't. He was lying there in a puddle of blood," she explained.
According to the mother, the killers even stole her son's clothes.
"They robbed him for everything, but this bracelet was still on him. I wear this every day. This is his bracelet," she said showing the accessory, one piece of her son she keeps on her person.
Files said she doesn't harbor any hatred for the killer, but that doesn't make the loss of her son any easier.
"I forgive him, and I love him, because that's what Christ says to do, but I am hurting so bad, I have days it's just unbearable. That was my only child. Not just a child, but my only child," she said.
