MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - we have a follow up now to a story we broke Tuesday, November 13 night on FOX10 News at 9 p.m. about an apparent drive-by shooting in the midtown area of Mobile.

According to reports, bullet went flying straight through a living room wall into a home on South Ann Street Tuesday night.

"We received a call that someone had shot into an occupied dwelling. What was reported to the officers was that our victim went inside of her residence after entering the residence a shot was fired at the house," said Cpl. Chris Levy.

FOX10 News was at the scene minutes after the incident happened. The homeowner told us several family members, including her 1-year-old grandchild, were inside the home when the bullet came crashing through.

"I jumped and ran to the back. Told my mom and them to get to the back, everybody get to the back, and I was just, just nervous. It’s just sad," said Stacey Hale Turner.

Police have not made an arrest but said they have leads.

"Beginning our investigation, what we've been able to determine is that our victim believes this is a result of an ongoing dispute between she and a known party," Levy said.

The homeowner said a strange vehicle drove by her home twice before the shot rang out.

"We definitely have plenty to work with," said Levy.

No one was injured in this incident, the investigation is ongoing.
