THEODORE, Ala. (WALA) - A family is searching for answers after finding their loved one dead Friday. It happened in Theodore and police are saying the circumstances are suspicious.

Angel Moore, 26, was found dead inside her home on Garden Grove Drive before noon. Her mother, Linda Dickson is still trying to come to terms with what happened.

"She was there when we needed her she was very dear to me she was my first born and now she's gone," said Dickson.

Dickson said Moore was a single mom who worked very hard to support her child.

"My daughter, I love her to death. That’s all I can say. I just love my child to death and I would have done anything for her. She knows that and knows all she had to do is pick up the phone and call and momma would be there for her,” said Dickson,

On Friday detectives shuffled in and out of the home surrounded by crime scene tape. Some neighbors with whom we spoke say they were shocked to hear the news because they just saw Moore the day before and everything seemed fine.

"Fire truck came in and the ambulance came later and then all these detectives started coming over and everything and that’s when we knew something was up,” said Raymond Culotta who lives a few houses down.

Police have classified this as a suspicious death and are looking for answers which Dickson desperately wants.

"If anybody is listening to this and knows what happened please let the police know. Please let us know we need to know what happened to my child," said Dickson.

Police hope an autopsy report early next week will provide a cause of death.
