MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile Police say a tip led to the arrest of a third suspect in connection to a deadly shooting.
Officers received information DeAngelo Howard was hiding out at a residence on Mohawk Street. Mobile Police Department Narcotics and Vice Unit working Operation I.M.P.A.C.T. were able to take him into custody without incident.
Howard is charged with murder in the death of Bernard Hall. Police say, the 22-year-old was shot and killed on January, 24, 2013 during a robbery at Lusher Park, located on North Dog River Drive.
Spokesman Corporal Chris Levy says, “Through our investigation, we’ve determined Mr. Howard is going to be our shooter.”
Police say, another victim was also shot during the robbery but he survived. Howard also faces attempted murder and first-degree robbery charges stemming from the same incident.
Two other suspects, Javonte Mitchell, 17, and Christopher Turner, 23, are also faces charges in the case.
