MPD: Suspects pulled over for speeding, arrested on drug charges

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Authorities said a routine traffic stop lead Mobile police to make a significant drug bust in Tillman’s Corner.

Authorities arrested Jessica Buker, 20, Kenneth Musgrove, 48, Stanford Gollotte, 42, and Stetson Brockmiller, 25, on drug charges.

Cpl. Chris Levy with the Mobile Police Department told FOX10 an officer stopped their vehicle for speeding down Bush Lane heading toward Three Notch Road.

He said the officer subsequently found an unspecified amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, and precursor chemicals to make meth in the trunk of the car.

“They obviously had contact with a lab somewhere else because they did have meth in the car, but the precursors were to make an additional meth lab,” said Cpl. Levy.

FOX10 News was the only station there as authorities made the arrests.

Police said this drug bust is a big win for Mobile.

Cpl Levy said, “We've taken a number of people that have arguably one of the most dangerous drugs on our street. Now, it’s off the street so this shows really the value of a traffic stop.”

Records show two of the suspects, Musgrove and Gollotte, have accumulated pages worth of arrests with charges including burglary and drugs.
All four are expected in court on Monday.
