MPD: Tip led to robbery arrests

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile police said a robbery occurred on South Dearborn street around 1 p.m. Thursday, January 31.

Investigators said a 65-year-old man was doing a home appraisal when he was approached by three men.

According to reports, one of the men hit him in the head and took his wallet.

Police said an anonymous tip led to an arrest on Pillans Street.

Danny Molette, Lee Drinkard and Clarence Jones are charged with first degree robbery and assault.
