MPD: Toddler drowned in relative's pool

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Two-year-old David Levi Young has died from injuries sustained from nearly drowning in a pool in Mobile Sunday afternoon.

The toddler was found unresponsive in the pool behind a home on Creek Lane in Northwest Mobile County around 1:30 Sunday.

He was transported to Providence Hospital where he died.

Police said their preliminary investigation revealed that the child was at a relative's home when he was discovered in the pool at the residence.
